SEMO BASEBALL THROWING DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE (SEPTEMBER SESSION)

FOR ANY HIGH-LEVEL BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL PLAYER, THE ABILITY TO THROW WITH VELOCITY AND ACCURACY, WHILE MAINTAINING ARM HEALTH IS INTEGRAL.

THROUGH THIS FOUR WEEK PROGRAM, COACH KINNEY WILL TEACH YOUR CHILD THE ART OF THROWING BY GIVING THEM SPECIFIC TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THEIR THROWING VELOCITY, ACCURACY, AND ARM HEALTH.

ULTIMATELY, THE GOAL OF THIS DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE IS TO GIVE YOUR CHILD THE KNOWLEDGE AND RESOURCES TO CONTINUE TO IMPROVE ONCE THEY ARE DONE WITH THIS PROGRAM.

• WHO: ANY BASEBALL OR SOFTBALL ATHLETE, GRADES 6^TH – 12^TH… THAT WANTS TO INCREASE THEIR THROWING VELOCITY AND ACCURACY. THIS LEAGUE IS OPEN TO PLAYERS AT ALL POSITIONS, NOT JUST PITCHERS. THERE ARE ONLY 8 TOTAL SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR EACH SESSION.

• WHEN: MONDAY NIGHTS FOR 4 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 8^TH AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 29^TH

• WHERE: CAPAHA PARK

• TIME: 1 HOUR SESSIONS. AFTER REGISTRATION COACH KINNEY WILL REACH OUT TO CONFIRM THE TIME THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOUR CHILD.

THE SCHEDULE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

• OPTION 1: 6:30PM – 7:30PM
• OPTION 2: 7:30PM – 8:30PM

• COST: $250 TOTAL. YOUR CHILD WILL RECEIVE:
• 4 SMALL GROUP 1 HOUR TRAINING SESSIONS

• ACCURACY & COMMAND TRAINING
• VELOCITY TRAINING

SEMO Fall League

• Description: The SEMO Fall League offers competitive game play for players who want to keep playing in the fall without the hassle or cost of traveling. Stay local, have fun, and sharpen your skills right here at home.
• When & Where: Every Sunday in October at Capaha Park.
• Who Can Play: Open to all high school–age players.
• Cost: $200 per player.
• Support SEMO Baseball: 100% of revenue funds scholarships for SEMO Baseball.

November Prospect Camp

• When: Sunday, November 2^nd. Registration will take place from 8:15am to 9:00am.
• Time: Registration will begin at 8:15am. Camp will start at 9:00am and end between 3:00pm and 4:00pm (dependent on the number of campers).
• Where: Capaha Field – 627 Capaha Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701
• Who: This camp is open to any and all High School baseball players.
• Cost: $175

Each player is required to have a medical waiver form completed by parent before they can participate in camp.

YOUR CHILD CANNOT PARTICIPATE UNTIL FORM IS SIGNED AND RETURNED!

Camp Schedule: Players will be able to interact with and receive instruction from the SEMO coaching staff and players. The camp will include instruction and evaluation in the following areas: 60 yard dash, defense, hitting, and pitching. The camp will also include a scrimmage (dependent upon weather). The scrimmage will be scripted according to the number of pitchers and hitters. Each pitcher and hitter will have ample opportunities to showcase their skills.

What to Bring: All Campers are required to bring their own baseball equipment. This includes: a glove, bat, helmet, baseball pants, belt, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment that is necessary to participate and compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Bring tennis/turf shoes. Metal spikes will not be allowed.

Please label all of your gear. SEMO is not liable for the theft or loss of any Camper’s property.

Hotel: Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
