Where: Capaha Field Indoor Facility

Cost: $250

Open to all 6th – 12th graders

Description: SEMO Baseball will be hosting a Pitching League starting December 3^rd – The pitching league is a 4 week course that will teach your son the art of pitching by giving them specific tools and resources to improve their throwing velocity, accuracy, and arm health. 

We will work off of the mound during each session; however, this league is designed so that each pitcher can still throw their regularly scheduled bullpens through their high school coach or with their pitching coach. This league is designed to complement, not replace, the work that each pitcher is putting in with their respective team as they prepare for their spring seasons.

January Prospect Camp - Afternoon Session

When: Sunday, January 12^th.  Afternoon registration begins at 12:00pm…Camp starts at 1:00pm. 

Where: Indoors at the SEMO Student Recreation Center, 750 New Madrid St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701

Who: This camp is open to any and all High School baseball players. Registration is limited to 45 players per session.

Cost: $150

Waiver Information

Each player is required to have a medical waiver form completed by a parent before they can participate in camp.

Please send medical forms to Matthew Kinney at mkinney@semo.edu or you can bring a copy at registration.

YOUR CHILD CANNOT PARTICIPATE UNTIL FORM IS SIGNED AND RETURNED!

 Check-In: The afternoon session will have check-in from 12-1pm.

Camp Schedule: Players will be able to interact with and receive instruction from the SEMO coaching staff and players. The camp will include instruction and evaluation in the following areas: 60 yard dash, defense, hitting, and pitching. Pitchers will specifically have the opportunity to throw a bullpen.  

What to Bring: All Campers are required to bring their own baseball equipment. This includes: a glove, bat, helmet, baseball pants, belt, running shoes/turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment that is necessary to participate and compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Bring tennis/turf shoes. Metal spikes will not be allowed.

Please label all of your gear. SEMO is not liable for the theft or loss of any Camper’s property. 

Hotel: Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
